Children engaging in the enveloping schema are fascinated with wrapping, covering, and hiding things, including themselves. You will find them wrapping toys in blankets, hiding under blankets, or creating dens or boxes to hide in. They are exploring the concept of objects disappearing, appearing, and the relationship between objects and the space they occupy.

Sensory play, encompassing activities that stimulate the senses, benefits all learners by promoting brain development, motor skills, and emotional regulation, and can be adapted to suit different learning styles.
